Works & clips
Here are some notable clips. The copy appears as it was sent to the editor.
- Divorce - I debunk the divorce myth amongst parents in the autism community.
- Karate - Martial arts as a new therapy for children with disabilities.
- Pixel pin-ups - A new crop of racy video games have computers turning blue.
- Autism: The Musical - It's pretty much the best name for a movie ever.
- Other - brief summary of some of my other work.
I've written for dozens of national publications, including Newsweek and ESPN. I've covered film, celebrity culture, technology, current events, toys, autism, music, martial arts, video games, jobs, sports, ethics and modern art.
I pride myself on tackling subjects for which I must first pass a crash course in expertise. I didn't know much about toys, for example, prior to taking a job at a toy industry magazine. In a year, I was regularly interviewed as an industry expert. That's just the way I throw myself into whatever it is I'm covering.
I've been interviewed by major media outlets including The New York Times, Fox News, MSNBC, BBC and NBC's Extra. I also run several websites, shot a TV pilot, designed t-shirts...I'm a pretty interesting guy. I'm also waaaaaay more humble than this page suggests, but you know...gotta sell myself and all that.
I would be happy to speak with you about your upcoming project(s).
