About
Dave Gerardi is a New York-based writer whose work has appeared in Newsweek, ESPN and dozens of other national publications. In addition to numerous short films, he has written and directed a TV pilot. He is a co-author and contributor to myriad non-fiction books and has edited magazines varying in size from 5k to 500k circulation. Despite countless magazine articles, contributions to numerous books, and super top-secret work on the internet, it may surprise you to know he is still poor and will accept donations of food or Cadbury Creme Eggs.
He hates talking about himself in the third person, so I'm switching to first person now. If you're going to email me that I made a style mistake by failing to capitalize 'internet' above, please stop. Although I love the AP Style Book, I happen to think they are sorely outdated in their approach to internet terms (like 'website' and 'email'). The Oxford English Dictionary agrees with me.
Despite the previous paragraph, I actually have a very good sense of humor. In fact, this site used to be much funnier, but I changed it to paint a more professional picture. (I still have a great sense of humor, but this isn't the place for it.) You can find a sampling of some of my previous work here, and I would be happy to speak with you about your upcoming project(s).
